James P. Breeden organized the Stay-Out rally as part of the larger Freedom Day school boycott on February 26, 1964. The rally took place at the Donnelly Auditorium in Boston, MA with over 3000 community members, both African-American/Black and white, attending the event in support of the end of de facto segregation.
